Flu or glandular fever??

I've had the flu for over 2 weeks now, I've been taking Paracetamol and ibuprofen for 2 weeks and my glands are still swollon like hell and i have really bad stumach pains i also have a high fever aswell, within the past 3-5 days i've come out in a rash which disapears when you roll a glass over it and ive got a grape sized lump at the roof of my mouth also i have a rash in my mouth aswell and i find it extrmly difficult to swollow anything. Is this the flu or glandular fever

i've seen 2 doctors and emergancy doctors and they've all said they think it could be a bad case of the flu but im going for blood test next week but i just wanna know to see if im doing stuff right or wrong.

You get up in the morning and you go round to your doctor and demand to be seen.
You may well have glandular fever you do not say how old you are also it could be many things but now gone past flu you need some antibiotics from your doctor.
If you start to feel very tired, vomiting then you call the doctor now.
In fact telephone these people NOW and speak to a nurse over phone.phone number top right corner please phone

edit: oK did not see your add on your blood test is a good idea but honest if you have got worst go back

Being an electrician I could sort your lights out! But you really should go and see your GP.

I've never heard of the term glandular fever but it sounds as if you aren't in the US, and I am. This sounds like something other than flu - as you have cited no respiratory symptoms. See your doctor.

What you are doing is right so long as you do not exceed recommended doses. Blood test will show if glandular fever or not as there is a specific test for it! Get well soon!
