Flu now Strep??

I just posted a few days ago and most of you said i have the flu. well all my flu symptoms went away but i still have a sore throat, and its really red. so what now....

It could easily be that you have two things going on. Your immune system is obviously compromised, you could get another thing tomorrow with a compromised immune system.

You really can't tell if the throat is strep without the doctor doing a swab. But, you can treat it with Grapefruit Seed Extract liquid from the health food store. Dilute 10 drops in 6 oz of water and gargle. You can repeat 4-6 hours apart, but shouldn't need to do it more than 24 hours. I have a son who is allergic to antibiotics, so we use Grapefruit Seed Extract instead of antibiotics. It works so well, that the whole family uses it now and doesn't bother going to the doctor for infections of throat or ear.

To help boost your immune system and get back on track:

NO REFINED SUGARS - that means, no white table sugar, high fructose corn syrup, or other processed sugars. They are known immune suppressants. No artificial sweeteners either. They make your already laboring kidneys and cleansing system work even harder. Good sugars are honey, molasses, turbinado and Stevia (which is a plant derivative which is super sweet, and not technically a sugar).

Take a teaspoon or so of apple cider vinegar daily. We put ours in 100% fruit juice.

Add GARLIC to your diet. Garlic is great for the immune system.

Sweeten with honey, have honey on toast, add honey. It is a natural antibacterial, antifungal and immune booster. Local raw honey is best.

Drink plenty of water. 96 oz a day is a good start. Your body needs water, and most people are actually chronically dehydrated which can cause a host of ills.

Vit C - powerful immune booster. Take 500 mg 2 x a day when sick, otherwise, just once a day. Take with food so you don't get an upset stomach.

Olive Leaf Extract is a good addition for boosting the immune system. You can get it in pill form.

Add a good B complex to your day, sublingual B is best absorbed, but in any form will definitely help.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

it didnt change from one illness to another, it's been the same thing all along I'm sure... go to the doctor and find out

Don't kiss anyone. You don't want them to get sick.
Take medicine and if that dosn't work go see a doctor.

Call your dr to have a strep screen done. It's just a swab of the back of your throat. If it is strep, you'll need an antibiotic.

please go to a dr.
you may have strep, sometimes not always
if you look in a mirror and say ahy, do you see
white patches on the back of your throat?
But you may not. so only a test called a rapid
step test can tell you for sure if you have strep throat
