Has anybody out there who had a completely regular cycle, missed it one time due to having the flu?

Yes, I have. I've also had a late period simply due to stress.
I have pretty regular cycles at 27 days. My last cycle was 31 days, when I called the doctor they said stress and illness can cause it to be late or missed all together. 2 hours later IT appeared.

If you are really concerned I would recommend calling your doctor's office and ask to have a nurse call you back. They will have your chart and medical history and better be able to determine if you need to see them.

No, I have only missed a period under two circumstances before, one was I was pregnant the other was I was under a lot of stress.

Kind of, mine was late...and when I finally got it I was still sick with the flu..which sucked.
