Hey, I have this pain in my gums behind my left bottom molar. I am just getting over the flu...related? |
Oh, I didn't realize I could post more. Long time reader, first time poster. haha. Anyway, I am just getting over the flu, and now the gum behind my left molar hurts very much. I've been told that a clogged sinus could cause this but I figured that might cause more general pain. This pain is very localized to that one spot. I did have extreme sinus congestion when I got the flu which seems to be ok now...except still a little pain in my left ear...which may be caused by the pain in my gums...or vice versa. Any ideas? I've also never had any wisdom teeth come in or removed..I'm 27. Upper left? If it's upper left, then yeah might be a sinus infection. Antibiotics will help. :) In my experience I've only known upper teeth to become sore from a clogged sinus. But being that you are 27 and have never had wisdom teeth removed I would assume they are trying to come in. I would speak with your dentist to check and make sure you even have wisdom teeth to begin with. Then from there decide whether it is necessary to have them removed. It wont cost a thing to phone your dentist and ask. |
