Has anyone else been sick with the crud that starts as flu and ends as bronchitis? If so how long did it last?

My friend after 6 weeks and 7 perscriptions still says it is lingering. I am on my 2nd week. Hubby is on his 3rd week.

I started the first on January with a viral respiratory infection, got shots. Then within 3 weeks caught the flu and bronchitis on top of that, within 4 days I had pneumonia and spent the weekend in the hospital. I begged to let me out so I had to go twice a week for shots and do breathing treatments at home. I have had several shots and several meds and I still am not over all this. I cough all the time, stuff is finally coming up thou so hopefully that's a good sign. I'm really tired of being sick that's for sure. I also get migraines and have had those on top of all this.
Just keep a check on the bronchitis so it does not turn into pneumonia cuz it can happen fast.
The weather where I live has been crazy 40 on day and 75 the next, so that makes it hard for anybody to get well.
Good luck
P.S. I used mineral salts for congestion, cold and sinus in my bath at night and also used a humidifier. It did help some

It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow for me. I have laryngopharyngitis (similar symptoms to bronchitis but more in the larynx and pharynx). It's torture, isn't it? I have been having coughing fits that is lessening in frequency but still lingering. I want to get well so bad! It's so frustrating to be sick for this long!

it lasted with me 2 miserable weeks of feeling shitty try taking some b-12 , omega 3 and some vitiman c.
