I have been off from work for 2 weeks with flu went to my gp would not give sick note but signs me?

my gp refuses to give me post dated sick note but rather signs me off for another week when i told him i feel better to go back to work.i am 32 weeks pregnant yet he prescribes anti biotics for me.i had a very bad cold but now feeling better .my gp has never been straight forward with me and fustrates me all the time is there any other institution i can turn to as i am about to loose 2 weeks wages through no fault of mine could not getpan appointment with the gp.what should i do?

I am assuming that gp is general practioner so I would see if you can get an appt with a OB GYN doctor ASAP. Explain to them whats happened and maybe they can work you in. If thats not possible then you could go to your local health dept.

Ask to see another Doctor at the practice this sounds weird !
But as you have been off ill I can't see any reason why they won't give you a sick note to cover that time and there
is no way you should lose wages because of this .

Self cert for one of the weeks and you have to wait 3/4 days before you can claim sick so inessence you`ll only loose 3 days pay.Or go see another Dr and ask for a back dated one and if they dont next time your ill call for a home visit if you cant make it/get appt.
