Try 2...Urgent!! After how long of having the flu are you not contagious?!?!? |
I think i have the flu. Fever of 103.5 for 5 days now, shortness of breath, get light headed real easily, dry cough, head ache, no appetite, and nauseous, but not throwing up. I am feeling a little bit better to day (day 6) and i want to go to my sports game. I still have a high fever, but I am up for going tomorrow, even though i feel like crap, if I won't get others sick. Can I go to the game!?!?!? the virus wil be present in the nasopharynx from1 to 2 days before and 1 to 2days after onset of symptoms,u r still having fever, its better to take rest...when u got the symptoms 8 days ago at that time also u were infective...checkout with ur friends does anyone have similiar complaints...if not no probs... You're usually most contagious right before the fever and also when you have the fever. 48 hours since you've had a fever. You need fluids, rest and whole foods. Forget the game. You mess around and you could be sick for a month! Let your body beat the virus and heal. |
