Nasty Cough & sore throat, dizziness, exhausted, but no other flu symptoms?

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and cough, and generally felt like crap. The cough has gotten to be so bad that it sometimes feels like I'm going to vomit from coughing so much, and it's making me lose my voice. This morning, I've been feeling kind of lightheaded. I've kind of been guessing it's just the cold or the flu.

The weird thing is, though, I don't really have any other symptoms. No fever, no stuffy nose, not much of a decreased appetite, no actual nausea. I guess that's the weird part.

Any idea what it might be? I'm kind of worried about whether it will get worse, or whether I might have spread it to my friends... It's finals week, so it'd suck if they caught something from me. :[

(Also, I'm considering it might be an infection...
A few weeks ago, I had a UTI, the antibiotics from that lead to me getting BV, and I was just taken off those antibiotics about a week ago. I seem to have bad luck with antibiotics and infections.)

I have that now, except no dizziness - yet. Mine is just a cough right now, then sometimes I get REALLY dry - like cottonmouth but not that bad. I'm starting to feel bad too. No aches - yet.

You've probably just got the "crud". Try to stear clear of your friends so they don't get it too. I've heard this year's flu lasts a good week, maybe longer.

i had that a week ago and no other flu simtums

well if your worried about go to a doctor but if your feeling sick at all start eating things good for a cold like soup and juice and vitamins

Sounds like a sinus infection. Get some new drugs

I get that ALL the time, no one knows what's wrong with me
