Urgent!! After how long of having the flu are you not contagious?!?!? |
I think i have the flu. Fever of 103.5 for 5 days now, shortness of breath, get light headed real easily, dry cough, head ache, no appetite, and nauseous, but not throwing up. I am feeling a little bit better to day (day 6) and i want to go to my sports game. I still have a high fever, but I am up for going tomorrow, even though i feel like crap, if I won't get others sick. Can I go to the game!?!?!? The rule usualy is you are contagious as long as you have a fever. see your doctor for antiviral meds if you've had your symptoms for less than 3 days. You've had a fever of 103.5 for 5 days?? You should see a doctor immediately. Do NOT go to the game, and stop hanging around the team when you're sick, for pete's sake. You need to go to a doctor and see what she has to say, then stay home and rest until you're healthy again. |

You can actually cause much more damage to yourself than benef... Whatever sounds good to you. First - there is the respiratory "flu" which is really the only "flu" there is and second, there is gastroenteritis which is the vomiting and diarr... I had that about 3 weeks back.
