Ok so the past couple of days my throat has been hurting to point where i cant talk.

This morning i woke up and body is sooooo sore.

i have lots of mucus and a reallly runny nose

i feel like i have to cough all the time but it hurts my stomach so bad i just dont.

FYI-i dont have any lumps in my throat, so no streph right?
-annnd im like really tired and feel like crap!

should i go see the doctor?

or would that be like a waste of time (cuz they cant do anything right?)

Those "lumps" are called lymph nodes. Usually in mono, those become enlarged. Here's the full list.

Symptoms:
Fever
Sore throat
Swollen lymph nodes, especially in the neck and armpit
General discomfort, uneasiness, or ill feeling
Drowsiness
Loss of appetite
Muscle aches or stiffness
Swollen spleen
Rash

Less frequently occurring symptoms include:

Jaundice (yellow cast to skin)
Headache
Neck stiffness
Sensitivity to light
Cough
Shortness of breath
Chest pain
Rapid heart rate
Fatigue
Nosebleed
Hives

If it lasts more then a week, it may be Mono. Your doc can run a blood test and maybe a abdominal scan to see if your spleen is enlarged (classic sign of mono.)

EDIT: If it persists for more then a week, then yes, go see the doc. There's no treatment, but it's important to rule out more serious illnesses

Probably the flu. Lots of water and rest.
