Severe back pain with the flu? |
I am having my first bout with the flu, got it from my b/f despite the flu shot.....He's definitely having a much worse time of it then me, maybe because of the flu shot, not sure. Thank you for your reply. There's only one other person in the household, and he got the flu first, and has it far worse, bronchitis now and laryngitis. he didn't get the god awful pain in the back tho. I'm waiting it out, seemed to be SLIGHTLY better today, altho as bad as this pain is hard to say. Gonna grin and bear it, and keep taking motrin (altho the only thing that touches the headache and the back pain is the codeine in the cough syrup) Hey good luck, don't even bother going to the doctor about the back pain because my family has had the flu going around for 2 months now and I think 6 people have had it so far an they all have had the exact same back pain you are talking about and then their stomach starts hurting and they get alot better with in a week later and they are fine so if you can do as much resting as possible and if anyone is in close territory around you or anyone with the flu tell them to get a med called tamiflu from the doctor before they get the flu or right immediately when they get it and it will last only a short time. So I promise you will get better just hold in there. |
