I just had the flu and nopw my poop is black??

Idk why??? Can i be serious?? I drank pepto bismol the pas few days.. & its still the same thing. Like diarrhea its very frustrating i have gas and cant crap right feeling constipated and bloated

See a Doctor immediately, You have internal bleeding. Maybe from an ulcer. They may admit you into the hospital. If you are losing blood they will give you a blood transfusion and I'V's to replenish the electrolytes that have been lost. More then likely they will order an endoscopy to find the source of bleeding. Minimal stay approximately two days. If you are taking any anticoagulants (blood thinner medication) such as plavix or asprin you will need to discontinue.
This is no joke, this condition worsens with time and some cases have resulted in death.

on the back of the bottle of pepto bismol it says if you have black poop read the back and i think it says you should see a doctor not sure but i have read it before

the pepto is the culprit here. don't worry about it. you should be back to normal a few days after you drank it.

if there's ever a time when pepto bismol isn't involved, black in the stool can mean that you had blood high up in your colon, and after passing all the way through you it turned black. in that case, you would call a doctor.
