What are the symptons of flu?

yesterday i had the following symptons:
headache
light headed
sensitive to the touch (i.e it hurt)
and today i have a bunged up nose and my throat hurts when i swallow and it also did a little bit yesterday.

sorry if this question is unclear im not very good at describing whats wrong with me! :)

Symptoms:

Symptoms of flu can start quite suddenly one to two days after infection. Usually the first symptoms are chills or a chilly sensation but fever is also common early in the infection, with body temperatures as high as 39 掳C (approximately 103 掳F). Many people are so ill that they are confined to bed for several days, with aches and pains throughout their bodies, which are worst in their backs and legs. Symptoms of flu may include:

Body aches, especially joints and throat
Coughing and sneezing
Extreme coldness and fever
Fatigue
Headache
Irritated watering eyes
Nasal congestion
Reddened eyes, skin (especially face), mouth, throat and nose
Abdominal pain (in children with flu)

That sounds like a virus.A cold you get aches & pains.Hope you feel better soon.

Sudden symptoms

The common symptoms of the flu include:


Fever (usually high)
Headache
Muscle aches
Chills
Extreme tiredness
Dry cough
Runny nose may also occur but is more common in children than adults
Stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, may also occur but are more common in children than adults

Ya poor thing must be soooo depressed hey bud, definitely sounds like FLU if ya ask me, best 2 stay in the warm & drink warm liquids, don't take 2 many tablets!.....

Don't think it's flu. If you had flu you would be struck down quite quickly and unable to do much except cry.
How to tell if it's flu....If someone tells you there is a 拢10 note in the road and it's yours if you pick it up. If you leave the bed/sofa to get it, you haven't got flu. If you just don't care as you are too ill, then it's the flu.

Sounds about right BUT I was told if you look out the window and see a 拢20.00 note on the lawn and are not fit enough to go and get it you have the flu. If this is your case take 2 paracetamols and go to bed.I hope you get better soon.
