Muscle aches from the flu??

I'm just getting over the flu, at least fever wise, i just have achy muscles (particularly my legs)...it's difficult to walk around. is this just from being in bed all day and not using my legs, or is it something from the flu still and how can i get rid of it? thanks!

With me, it's making my neck, back, and head hurt. Plus I'm really tired. It seems to take awhile for this mess to completely go away. Hang in there. It just takes time. Rest, and drink plenty of fluids.

It's probably a bit of both. The flu takes forever to get over. Two weeks after I went back to work I was still dead tired, and napped for 20 minutes at my desk every day. (Door closed...lol)

Oh yeah... def from the flu. Keep heating pads on them whenever you're in bed or laying down. Hope ya' feel better :0)

I had the exact same thing. My calves hurt going up the stairs after my other symptoms left. Unfortunately I didn't find anything on the internet to help me. You have to just let your body continue to heal. I was fully better in about 3 days.

when you have the flu you often don't eat and just lay in bed all day your muscles get soar cuz your not using them. If they hurt bad take a Motrin or Advil that would make you feel better.
