Help! I have the flu!?


I am very tired, my eyes cant handle sunlight, my head is hurting along with a sore throut and many other body parts that are very sore. The thing that hurts the most through is my sore throut. I do not have any spices or honey.

Please help me! I feel terrible!

Treating colds and flu's with caraway seeds - This remedy is for a running nose. Roast 1 tablespoon of black caraway seeds and then blend into a power. Sniff a pinch of the powder a few times several times a day.

Treating colds and flu's with honey - Mix together 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/3 a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Lick this mixture off a spoon 3 times daily.

Treating colds and flu's with milk cream - Mix half a teaspoon of milk cream with a pinch of baking soda and take. Take this mixture 3 times a day to get rid of cold's or flu's

Treating colds and flu's with onions - Peel and cut an onion in half. Grind or grate the half onion and mix in as much honey as you need to get it down. It's not very pleasant tasting but it does help cure a cold or flu.

Treating colds and flu's with Vitamin C - Vitamin C helps with cold symptoms including coughing, sneezing. The best source of vitamin C is always found in fresh fruit. Citrus fruit is very high in vitamin C and can be made into a healthy drink that will help fight that cold. Fruits that are high in Vitamin C include - orange, kiwi fruit, pineapple, seedless grapes, fresh ginger, banana, pink grapefruit and cantaloupe

Treating colds and flu's with Zinc - Zinc can dramatically reduce symptoms such as a dry irritated throat. I would suggest buying zinc lozenges at the supermarket. These have a more pleasant taste.

Rest and relax. Resting lets you put all your energy into getting well. Take a day or two off work if you need to. Your regular daily routine can be braining. When your not feeling well your concentration is down and it will take you double the time to do things than it normally would, so rest and relax.

Treating colds and flu's with Water - Water is vital in the healing of a cold. You must drink between 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Water will help replace important fluids lost during a cold and help flush out impurities that may be preying on your system

Treating colds and flu's with Chicken Soup - Chicken soup is a long time remedy that is now a proven fact. A cup of hot chicken soup can help to unclog your nasal passages. What comes out when you blow your nose is the first line of defense in removing germs from your system.

Treating colds and flu's with Salt - Use salt water to relieve an irritated throat by gargling morning, noon and night or whenever it hurts. Fill a glass with warm water and mix in 1 teaspoon of salt.

Hot showers - Taking a hot shower can help clear congestion. Alternatively you can place a bowl on the table with cover your head and the bowl with a towel. Add really hot bowling water to the bowl and inhale the steam. This will also help your cough by moistening your dry throat.

Don't feel horrible, the flu is going around. Just contact your doctor and he or she will tell you the right medicine to take. Just take it easy. Drink plenty of fluids and take medicine when needed. You may or may not experience vomiting. Cause when you have the flu you can feel sick to your stomach. You may also have it for a fairly long time. But eventually you'll feel better! It's just the flu, it'll go away!

Whenever I have a cold or a flu, I chew one clove of raw garlic.

go to bed with a hot water bottle and put a ice pack on your forehead taken some panadol 2 tablets every 4 hours and drink plenty of fluids and if you have a bottle of TCP gargle with that if not a cup of hot water with plenty of salt in it.

theres a leaf called ecapulicto. make a tea out of that and lime, and honey if you have if you don't use sugar. it works mircles. you can find that leaf in any supermarket. it works great thats what i use

Do you have ginger and basil leave at home?
Prepare tea containing a tsp of crushed ginger and ten basil leaves. Take this concoction, three times daily for a week. The severity of the symptoms is reduced after two days of treatment.
Use of ginger and basil leaves tea is beneficial in reducing the symptoms of flu such as fever and body ache.
And if you mix honey with ginger and basil leave, then its good for sore throat.
