Symptoms inside - Diagnosis please | Flu-like?

I have recently come down with something, and I'm not sure what it is... I thought it was the flu, but some other wierd stuff has been happening.

1. Coughing up phlegm.
2. Hard to breathe during the 15 second process.
3. Irregular breathing before feeling the urge to start coughing.
4. Painful coughing.
5. While coughing, forehead and stomach hurts.
6. Sometimes throwing up.

I'm taking Tylenol Cold (Day)... and Tylenol Cold (Night)

Sounds gross, I know.. but I really need to know what the hell is going on !! It's so painful and annoying!

Thanks in advance.

Kyle

this is a flu-like symptom but i figured i'd add it...

hurts to swallow

sounds more like pneumonia.... hopefully you are feeling better now...

Sounds like the flu, however, if you're continue to have problems breathing, I would seek medical attention.

Dude this is just a cold it happens to everyone it will soon get better just keep taking medicine i suggest the lemsip cold & flu capsules they work well for me

also if you had the flu trust me you would know its not like a bad cold its a really really bad cold
hope you get better :)

i just went to the doctors yesterday and was diagnosed with having the flu. He told me that when coughing there wasent suppose to be anything coming up with it, thats a symptom of the common cold.. BUT today I am coughing up stuff just as you are... I think you have the flu... good luck its 5 days of annoying pains and laziness... there really is no point for you to see a doctor unless its within the first 48 hours of having any symptoms because they cannot prescribe anything got you.. I was lucky and got there the next day and was prescribe TAMUFLU which only cuts 1 day out of the 5 days off (wow =/ ) so good luck to you.. And tamiflu is a VERY expensive medication (tier 3) he said some people pay upwards of $80 for it even with excellent health insurance, luckly I have MASSHEALTH and it only costs me $3

No.... I'm almost positive it bronchitis. Phlegm with the cough and it makes you have an urge to cough like crazy but hurts your head . Are you coughing hard? Call the doc!
