Where has bird-flu mostly affected?how can it be prevented?

UN experts gave the go-ahead today for the targeted vaccination of poultry in an attempt to prevent the spread of bird flu in any countries.

The measure was approved as an alternative to mass culling, which affected countries fear could devastate their livestock.

If your country has VET or Pet doctor registered by international pet doctor's association, look for the right dosage in vaccination depending on the type of animal and breeding environment, humans already have flu vaccination
in clinics because they pay for it ,

animals also have flu vaccinations, its just that animals do not carry any type of currency to pay for vaccinations at VETS, it is the matter of how much budget is allocated by govt or farmers to do vaccination from the right medical places, depending on the economic status of the nation.

Some Health ministry rural country prefers to pay for sulpher bullets/gunpowder rather than animal vaccinations, it depends on your leaders decisions again. Its a free country in decision making based on health knowledge.

If infected, antibiotics are also available for cure too, does animals hold any money? http://www.science.org.au/nova/090/090bo...

The said pandemic according to many experts never existed. But there is always room for such infections in any environment.

This pandemic is said to have started in South-East Asia and largely is said to exist in most parts of Asia including China and India.

Advanced nations like U.K., French, and even Germany has reported this bug in birds. Some of these european nations also claims drugs for treatment.

Prevention is some thing like "Organic Green Growing" these days, the birds should be allowed to exist in a healthy environment. You know the new drugs would eventually only increase the resistant microbes to create mutants and create new disease after a decade.

Killing infected birds might be a solution in some species like hens, but not all. As many bird species are in brink of extinct.
