Death from the flu? |
When I hear about people dying from influenza, I am very confused. How does one exactly die from the flu? Isn't it just weeks of incessant fever, coughs and sore throats? The flu outbreak of 1918 killed 50-100 MILLION in one year around the globe.... it can clog up the air passages and people can sufficate from it Seems like I recall that 37,000 people die each year from the flu?? That would be old people and the very young. And the flu we usually get is mild. |
