Avian (Bird) Flu, Chicken Pox, West Nile?

Are they DNA or RNA,
Transmission?
Whats the Symptoms?
Whats an Interesting Fact about these?

. Chicken Pox:DNA
Symptoms of chickenpox begin between 10 and 21 days after a person is exposed. The illness typically includes fever and a generally sick feeling. This is soon followed by itchy, red bumps that quickly become fluid-filled and are easily recognized as chickenpox. These skin blisters are round, (about the size of a pencil eraser), with a red base. Sometimes, they are described as a "dew drop on a rose petal." They appear in various stages over the next few days and eventually crust over. These blisters may appear anywhere there is skin, even inside the mouth, throat or vagina. Some patients have only 50 blisters or fewer. Others have too many to count.
They have a vacine for it now and it's has become increasing more poplular to have what is a called a " chicken pox party" Parents who have a small child and that child that comes down with it, they call thier friends who have small children who haven't had it so they can come and play. ( strange but true)
Avian (bird) Flu: RNA
Symotoms include fever cough sore throat muscle aches
conjunctivitis. It is spread by bird and you eating an egg from a bird that is infect won't give you Avian flu
West Nile: RNA
asymptomtic (no symptoms), or can lead to West Nile fever
The symptoms of severe disease (also called neuroinvasive disease, such as West Nile encephalitis or meningitis or West Nile poliomyelitis) include headache, high fever, neck stiffness, stupor, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, muscle weakness, and paralysis. It is estimated that approximately 1 in 150 persons infected with the West Nile virus will develop a more severe form of disease. Serious illness can occur in people of any age, however people over age 50 and some immunocompromised persons (for example, transplant patients) are at the highest risk for getting severely ill when infected with WNV.
Overall, spraying to control adult mosquitoes in combination with other integrated mosquito management techniques is highly effective. A November 2002 Harvard School of Public Health survey shows 9 out of 10 people in high-mosquito areas of the country favor spraying against mosquitoes to prevent the spread of West Nile virus
