Man flu...women does it annoy you?

My lodger and step dad are both suffering from man flu.
They both have a bit of a cough and the sniffles and are acting like they are dying. Every sniff is followed by uurrrrgggghh Me and my mum feel like strangeling them!
Does is annoy you when the men around you think they are going to die because they have a cold?

Yes! They have to lie there and be looked after for the slightest sniffle! When we are ill, they say ' you should have had what I've just had, then you would know about it!'

Oh my God, I totally know what you mean. My boyfriend currently has the sniffles and he just keeps blowing his nose LOUDLY and so irritating-ly. On purpose. And coughing up phlegm. Ugh.

I am experiencing this with my BF as we speak. Men are babies and crave love and attention while they are sick. Mine is happy when i buy him cold medicine and make him hot teas with honey.

men are such babies when they are sick....everything must revolve around them......

Yeah that really annoys me. My dads always got something to complain about. Always. Women tend to get on with it when they're ill, and men just moan.

My brother is quite a bit older than me, and once me and my parents had gone on holiday, and when we got back he was on the sofa using one of my mums best bath towels as a tissue!!

Men need to realize people have bigger problems and we don't want to hear them moaning all the time! I bet women have more pain than them anyway!

Yes, totally!! Either you or your mum should seriously make a pot of chicken and rice soup with carrot and onion. I do this, it's a cure for everything and I gave it to the man in my life and he was back on his feet the very next day!! Man flu, it was, a flu it wasn't it was a damned cold which has never been fatal, to my knowledge?

I get bronchitis every year I inherited it from my grandfather and like him colds/flue or even the chronic bronchitis do not stop me from getting off my backside and completing my work or even finding work to do at home

I have a job mid week and I also have a part time business on the weekends to earn extra cash (I hate the thought of claiming benefits and do not agree with people who could find a job even if it involves knocking on doors looking for window cleaning or grass cutting work its a respectable income and proves you are willing to work and are not worthy of the title "scrounger")
