Stomach flu still after 6 days? |
I am coughing ever minute or two and so hard I end up throwing up sometimes. I am still running a fever of 100F or so on and off. Is this normal? From what I read a viral infection normally doesn't last this long. Is there anything I can do to settle my stomach or stop the coughing? Help! Last week was my first week at a new job and I missed the last three days. Now I can't miss Monday so I need something to make me better. Please Help any doctors or Nathuropaths? I do have green sputum. Stomach flu? There is no stomach flu. Flu is a respiratory infection and what you have doesn't sound at all like it's originating in your stomach. Viral infections can last up to 14 days depending on the specific virus involved. It may be that you have a bacterial infection and not a viral one at all but without cultures, I wouldn't know. You haven't mentioned any discolored sputum. What with the green sputum, this is sounding bacterial and you may have bronchitis. Report It |
