Flu Questions?

1. I have a sore throat, headache, fever (which gets to 103.5- 104 at night), a tight, sore chest, and a bad cough (with some blood). I don't have a runny nose or any coldlike sypmtomes though, which is part of the flu. Do you think I still have the flu? What else could it be?

2. Is it okay for me to go to school tommorow? I already missed school today and my symptoms are only getting worse.

I know these questions are kinda stupid, but thanks for the help!

Thanks Mandie! I might skip school for the doctor.

I don't think it's the flu. I mean if you have blood coming up when you cough and a really high fever, you might have tuberculosis.
You should probably go to the doctor to get it checked out because anytime your coughing up blood and have a high fever like that it's not good.
You probably shouldn't go to school either because you really need to rest and take it easy. It's not contagious if it is tuberculosis, but you need to rest and drink water.
I hope you get well soon! Being sick is never fun!
Best wishes!

You need to see your doctor..and the school doesn't want you with a fever of 103 or 104...trust me.

Your questions aren't stupid..I had the same(still do) and I stupidly waited until my Dr's office was closed--but I'm calling tomorrow. First thing.

We may be able to suffer through it--but there are people out there who simply cannot get sick..we need to not infect any of them...I have a friend with Pancreatic Cancer.I don't want him to get a bug on top of it..he has more to handle than he needs already--but he wants to see me..!!.

I don't want his life to be shorter because of me---and yes--I know about Patrick Swayze--I can't bear to have anything but the History and the SiFi Channels on anymore-it's awful.

Drink your orange juice! Cough on your sleeve not your hand-and wash your hands if you blow your nose!

Let's both get Better!

if you've had your symptoms for less than 3 days, see your doctor for antiviral meds.

Geez i dunno cuz that is a stupid question and so is this answer just dont go.
