Am I just getting over the stomach flu? Or is it something else? |
On Wednesday I got a 24 hour stomach flu where I had pure liquid diarrhea and I was throwing up. I stopped having diarrhea and throwing up on Thursday. I think you need to see a doctor really. If you haven't eaten at all then that's probably what's causing your symptoms. Fluids are very important. If you haven't been drinking much either then you really should see a doctor. You could try something that is going to replace electrolytes. I'm not sure where you are located but if you send someone to a pharmacy for you then the pharmacist can advise them on the best treatment. After bad diarrhea you often need to drink these treatments to replace lost salts and sugars. That may make you feel better. If not then I really think you should see a doctor as you may need to have the fluids replaced in a hospital. It could be from being dehydrated. Get some gator aid or something like that. I'm not a doctor, and I don't think a doctor will answer this on yahoo. If what you had was the stomach flu, then you are still getting over it. If your not sure what you have or had, no one on here can tell you. I do know that vomiting and diarrhea cause dehydration, and your symptoms sound like that. |
