Why do I get the flu after getting sunburnt? ....sun poisoning You don't have the flu. Many people confuse every sickness they have with the flu. Influenza in in its true form lasts at least a week to two weeks. What you have is sun stroke. Let me guess? well, its pobably bcuz when u get sun burnt germs can penatrate the skin much much easier. it can also mean u are allergic to too much heat and exhustion. i recomend using sunscreen like the guy above me said yes it could be a heat stroke b cuz it rare to recieve many flus a year due to the fact that it is a virus. becase your system is working on the sunburn and weekens it is not the flu...it is sun poisoning. If you are fair skinned and burn and peel, you are very prone to it. wear sunblock!!! you don't get the flu, sunburns and influenza are completely unrelated. your immune system doesn't like the sun burnt so it trys to fight it off but lets bacteria in. So try putting on more sunblock It's not the flu - it's probably heatstroke or sun poisoning. The two are not related, but you may have had a heat stroke or were close to one... that would be called heat stroke. you prob have sun poisoning |
