Cleaning retainer after having stomach flu?

hey
i just recently had the stomach flu, and before i physically got sick, i had the retainer in my mouth, which of course, covered it in flu germs.
what would be a good way to disinfect the retainer, because i dont want the flu again.

Go to the drugstore and get a cleaner like Efferdent. It is marketed as a "denture cleaner" but it is great for retainers as well.

Please don't boil it, microwave it, bleach it, or any of the other strange things aI have seen people do!

If nothing else you could probably use Listerine,

I'd get some extra strength denture tablets and wash it in there.

with warm water?
