How long does the stomach flu last ? |
I have been sick for 3 days now and no relief in symptoms. I have tried to eat bananas and they won't stay down. I am able to retain a fluid intake as long as I am sipping. The dierrhia and vomiting is no better than the first day though. Should I be getting worried ? The stomach flu can be caused by a variety of things, either bacterial or viral in origin. But it's usual for it to go on for more than a couple of days, so I think you should see a doctor as soon as you can. Assuming you haven't been able to eat in three days that is probably exacerbating your symptoms. You might need to have an IV in for a few hours. |
