Is this the stomach flu or something else? |
On Tuesday I was very nauseous and threw up a lot. Wednesday I was still nauseous all day and had diarrhea. Now today I still have diarrhea. I know too much information... but it's basically just water coming out. How long does the stomach flu usually last or could it be something else? I haven't been around anyone who has been sick. Should I make a doctor appointment/when? I don't have a fever or anything. Aside for the diarrhea and nausea, I feel okay. Give it another day or two, just make sure you are drinking lots of water and you may want to try the BRAT diet. Clear Liquids, bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. These are all foods that are easy on your stomach and will help you get over this thing faster. If you don't feel better in a couple of days you might want to check with the doctor. it might be food poisoning what have u eaten that might have triggered it? if you feel you need to see a doctor go ahead it doesnt hurt to be safe =) good luck with everything |

Yes still contagious. However, your 1 week old still has many natural immunities that stay strong up to six weeks old. But there is a possibilty baby can get it. Wash your hands frequently, No kiss... Could be something else, call the vet. ...His body is probably hurting due to vomiting and dry heaving using so many muscles, especially if he is doing this alot. also he will get weak and sore if he is dehydrated which doesnt take much ti...
