Will i catch the flu? im on?

my friend has the flu (the cold kind, not the stomache kind)
we recently went away with our school and she was in my hotel room, but i didn't spend that much time with her otherwise. we shared a big bed but slept opposite from eachother and didn't touch for the whole 4 hours we were asleep. i havent been with her for a day or two and i dont seem to have any symptoms. on top of that i am already on anti biotics because i am getting over a sinus infection. do you think ill catch the flu? thanks!

And the period your friend was contagious was about 3 to 5 days after her symptoms began. since influenza can be transmitted through the air, its more commonly spread through direct contact.

Most of the time, if you haven't come down with symptoms after 48 hours of exposure, you're probably in the clear.

There's a possibility, but hopefully you washed your hands and kept clean. The antibiotics you're on will not protect you from the flu, since the flu is a virus and antiobiotics are not effective against viruses.
