Scary symptoms meningitis , the flu or worse?

Hi, I have been having these symptoms for the last week or two now. It started with a cold/sinus infection about two weeks ago . I had some antibiotics so i took about 7 days worth and my sinus infection seemed to go away... no more green/yellow mucus or sinus headache. I still had light headedness and a fever that came and went. Then about a week ago I got a mild stiff neck which has been getting better(still have a light ache in my neck/spine).... Then in the last couple days I have been having headaches ,toothaches and pain in the roof of my mouth that come and go.
I would really like to know if this happens with meningitis or PAM disease I have been having extreme fear and anxiety about it being PAM disease as that it usually fatal with 2 weeks and is only diagnosable with a spinal tap which is why I haven't gone to the hospital because I doubt they will do a spinal tap because I have some of the symptoms, am I just being paranoid is this normal for the flu? Right now all i have is headaches that come and go, light headedness or dizziness and slight nasal congestion... sorry about it being so long but if anyone can help or has any ideas i will greatly appreciate it.

If you truly had meningitis you would be dead by now because there's no "getting better" period...you just get worse and worse and worse. Sounds like you have started to recover, so that's a good sign. Continue to take tylenol or ibuprofen for your headache, and as long as you keep getting better, don't worry too much. Still the normal flu course.

I would go and be seen just to be safe..I had the flu a few months ago and had alot of the symptoms you are describing in yourself..I was dizzy, headache, high fever, bad body aches and some congestion..But again its better to be safe than sorry..It could be all of the above things you mentioned that have got you worried, since you have symptoms of all of them..So I would go to the doctor.

Dude that is all about your sinuses. Not to like trip you out but I've heard of people with those same symptoms and it was the top of thier spinal bone or whatever had a leak in it and it was draining into the sinus cavity and they would take antibiotics and it would feel a little better but then come back.Check this sight out.

i'm not sure what you mean by PAM disease, I know military people have to have the innoculation (PAM) for biowarfare. i assume that's not what you're referring to. to me it sounds as though you have a sinus infection. some key symptoms of that are the toothache/pressure because your sinuses are right above your top teeth. rinsing your sinuses with nasal saline would help. you need to go back to the doctor though.

for meningitis: it's not just a stiff neck as that can happen with other things. can you touch your chin to your chest? if you can't, go to the doc ASAP. you'd also likely have a fever and vomiting too. you would have to get a spinal tap, but i assume you'd rather have that than be dead (if you have meningitis).

it really sounds like a sinus infection that didn't completely clear. you have to go back to the doctor because it is possible for the infection to eat through the skull and move into the brain, then causing meningitis. in your case it sounds like it has to be treated. good luck.
