I have the stomach flu but can't keep down water, help!? |
I know you get dehydrated what with puking gallons of bile up every hour or so, but every time I try to drink water (even tiny little amounts/sips) I just throw it up 20 minutes later... and I'm thirsty as hell so I know I need liquids. How can I keep fluids down without throwing it right back upi minutes later? try sucking on a small piece of ice. If you haven't been to the Dr. then go, if you have call the Dr. Office and get a prescription for something to stop you from throwing up Try some ginger tea or flat, non-diet ginger ale. The ginger will settle your stomach and the liquid from either will help the dehydration. Ginger ale will have sugar in it and will give your body some much-needed sugar, too. go to the hospital |
