Is there bird flu in Sweden?

I'm a naturally anxious person. Therefore, when my lab partner returned from a visit to Sweden coughing his lungs out and managed to pass it on to me, I immediately flew into a fit of panic, searching for what it might be, if not the common cold. To tell the truth,I was terrified to find that Sweden has announced bird flu within its borders in previous years. Unlikely to mutate, I know, but I'm still scared.

Any idea of what it might be or am I just paranoid, as always?

Yes, you're just paranoid, as always (if you express it like that I actually think you are!). ;)

They found some cases of infected birds in Sweden back in 2006, but they haven't found any infected animal after that, and much less any infected humans (neither before nor later).

no there isnt
