what are the signs that i have the flu? my temp hasnt gone past 100.9 but i have aches, i am very tired, irritable, and cold touching my skin hurts. i also have a very bad cough that is so deep it hurts my back and my chest (across my sternum). i dont want to take anything for flu if it isnt the flu. there is no mucus when i cough. also, my 20 month old daughter got her flu vaccine does that mean she cant catch it? The flu generally presents itself as a very intense cold, with muscle aches/weakness, fever, and other symptoms. It very well could be the flu, and if you get better over time, there's nothing to worry about. If it doesn't better or gets worse within a week from when the symptoms began, it might be time to go see your doctor. |
