Can i still get flu even if i had a flu shot?

Can i still get flu even if i had a flu shot?

Unfortunately you can because the strain that was chosen to guard against this year was not the one that gave most people the flu . There are many strains of flu virus and they have to decide before the vaccine is made which one is likely to go around. They made a slight mistake and a lot of people got the flu.

yes you can but you wont get the severe case just a very mild one so dont worry

yes you can!! medical people i know say you can still get the flu, and supposedly, it will affect you less, and you will get over it a few days earlier.

yes, you can.

"Vortex" and "Equisetum" gave you the two best answers. There's nothing I can add to these.

Yes, it wont be as bad.

Yes you can. The flu virus constantly mutates and they only give you one type in the vaccine- which is why you need a new shot yearly. You won't get full blown flu tho, but symptoms like a cold instead.

Because of the vaccine true flu is harder to get. Most people get a bad cold and mistake it for flu... My dad used to say to me "If someone told you there was a million pounds downstairs waiting- and you got up to go and fetch it- you don't have flu."

Yes, unfortunately you can. Each year, scientists make a guess as to what the most prevalent strains of flu will be next year. Then they produce the flu vaccine accordingly. So the vaccine won't make you immune to all the flu virus variations out there. But it does lower your risk, and is recommended for everyone with respiratory problems and older people.

you must less vitamin c. better take vitamin c. drink more water.

Yes you can still get the flu.
