I have a friend, 27, she's sick & can't keep food/drink down. I'm thinking heat exhaustion or flu. Any advice? |
She has been throwing up for 2 hours now. When ever she drinks any liquid she throws it right up. We did spend a lot of time in the sun today, so I am thinking it could be heat exhaustion, but I cooled her body down immediately. Perhaps it's the Flu or food poisoning... I have no clue, but and starting to get concerned. Thanks for the answers thus far. She says her whole body is weak and soar, plus her stomach has a burning pain. Vomiting is pretty serious. I would agree with either heat exhaustion or food poisoning. How is her pulse? Bloodshot eyes? Temp? Swelling? With the information you have provided it could be anything, really. Either way, if the vomiting persists or her condition shows no improvement, the only thing you should be doing is getting her to a doctor. Like the source says, she could get heat stroke if she is exhausted. Don't forget to ask HER how she is feeling. More importantly, you should be worried but don't panic, there's nothing a trip to the doctor can't fix. Better safe than sorry. if i were in your situation take her to a doctor or something they r the only people who really know what they r talking about You don't know what your dealing with so, take her to E.R. right away.Doc |
