Does anyone know if having the flu can mess with Microalbumin readings? |
I had a recent test, and my microalbumin was through the roof (398). Does anyone know if having the flu at the time of the test might futz with the reading? Microalbumin is the measurment of kidney damage. I'm worried now that I may have kidney disease, but my eyes, mouth, and feet have no problems. Are the kidney's ever the first to go? Being ill can raise blood sugar readings significantly, and can also raise some of your other tests. Every thing will be ok., don't be scared. hi you having the flu, a cold and a few other thing so relax a bit there is nothing to worry about give it about a week after If passes and you will see them return to what they and i will Let your doctor explain it more to you but it is nothing to worry about if your after getting the flu or a cold |

Just try and get as much rest as possible and stay hydrated. Good luck tomorrow!!! I hope you feel better ...as far as i know it belongs to the lymph glands around the neck , which are the place for white cells ( a kind of blood cells) to fight with the microbes. when somebody got flu withe cells come to ... you need to try to get as many fluids as you can keep down. if you can't, then you will need to see the doctor. ...Make sure you get your flu shot....I'm not a big fan of getting jabbed, but the flu shot....I make an exception. Other than that, the best you can do is to keep yourself in a good a shape... Gasp! Dont mention man-flu! Even the Borg don't dare mention that! ... |
