In March I had the flu. Ever since then , I cannot smell or taste. Has any one had this problem? Problems with the sense of smell are common, but unfortunately, often overlooked, because smell is often not considered a vital function. However, as you can attest, smell is a valuable facet of human existence, and some people without a sense of smell can become depressed or even malnourished (as the joy of eating is lessened). |

I hope you feel better ...as far as i know it belongs to the lymph glands around the neck , which are the place for white cells ( a kind of blood cells) to fight with the microbes. when somebody got flu withe cells come to ... you need to try to get as many fluids as you can keep down. if you can't, then you will need to see the doctor. ...Make sure you get your flu shot....I'm not a big fan of getting jabbed, but the flu shot....I make an exception. Other than that, the best you can do is to keep yourself in a good a shape... |
