Is The Flu Vaccine Good For Your Health? |
Influenza is a contagious respiratory illness that can cause mild to severe symptoms according to what I got to understand... The single best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each fall. Of course getting your flu vaccination does prevent influenza, but does it damage other parts of your body? Does it hurt you in the long run? Good for your health? No. This vax still contains Thimerosal (Mercury) about 90% of the time, which is a heavy metal and a dangerous neurotoxin. It also contains other unmentionables. You can research ingredients at the CDC website. I have never allowed the flu shot for myself or our two little girls, however, my husband, who does not listen to my unending wisdom... tee hee... gets one every year. He also becomes ill every year. This last winter he missed almost a week of work because of flu-like symptoms. The girls and I?... nothing. I also provide day care to two little boys ages 18 months and 4. Their parents allowed both to have the flu shot. Both became ill with the same virus and took it home to their respective families. Somehow, they shared something at our house, but our family managed escape it altogether. Wierd. I felt really guilty about that, but their parents all just go along with "recommendations." I don't usually give so much anecdotal-type info, but the evidence is stacking up here. Natural immune system support is preferred over injection of potentially toxic and unnatural material into the body. Don't buy the propaganda. Do plenty of independent research (preferably, not at the highly biased CDC public health website) before you allow anything to be put into your body. Everytime you get a flu shot, it teaches your body how to fight that particular type of infuenza. This information is stored in the body. So if you're exposed to a similar virus (they're never quite the same) you have slightly more immunity. So immunity increases every year. There was a neurosurgeon who did a study and determined that people who got multiple flu shots in the 10 year period were more likely to get Alzheimer's. I believe that it is because of the aluminum in the shot. The shot is full of other questionable ingredients too. I avoid them. Excellent question and honestly, since the Swine Flu vaccine debacle, I shun flu shots...just don't trust them, rather do it holistically by taking vitamins, eating fruit and vegetables and getting my overall health to the optimum level. I have taken the Flu Vaccine every year because I have R.A. and hence a low immune system. I have never had the flu.
