Do i have flu?

my symptoms are blocked nose, sneezing, itchy mouth, tiredness, headache, my ears feel funny, aching muscles and even tho i said i was tired im up at 5am and cant get back to sleep and the muscle aches seem to change like yesterday it was my back REALLY BAD and today its my legs and shoulders . Do i have flu or a REALLY bad cold?

oh yh and i dont know if its a fever but i feel really hot

it could be either, though it sounds like the flu.. you may want to go to the doctor just in case... it could be something totally different, better safe than sorry

There are hundreds of viruses that can cause flu like symptoms. Aching does increase the likelihood that a viral infection is being caused by the influenza virus.

Some of your symptoms could also be associated with reactive arthritis which follows bacterial infection with organisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis or Neisseria gonorrhea. These organisms can cause a condition known as Reiter's syndrome which is characterized by urethritis, conjunctivitis and uveitis, and arthritis of large joints. Physicians use the following to remember this syndrome: "The patient can see, can't pee, and can't climb a tree."
