Treatments for the flu?

What do you find is the best - non drug or needle or soup related way to deal with the flu?

Plenty of rest and fluids. It just takes time to get over.

There's not much you can do for the full blown flu. Make the person comfortable, lots of fluids or, as much as they can drink, lots of rest. If a secondary infection like pneumonia occurs then this has to be treated in a different manner.
If a high fever persists then this is what the doctor is for, he should see the patient in this case because there's something other then or,along with the flu happening here.

lots and lots of fluids and rest, without any over the counter remedies or a visit to the er or your doctor that's pretty much all you can do is wait it out til it runs it's course, but, I would use at least something over the counter to make you more comfortable and definately the fluids gatorade, water, 7-up, clear fluids, even if you are not able to keep the fluids down at first keep drinking them as much as possible to stay hydrated ice chips are always a good option when nauseated and throwing up until things stay down better. Hope this helps, feel better soon!!! Also, be sure to check your temp periodically to be safe. If you have a fever tepid temp. baths are helpful or cool wash clothes ice pack on the forehead helps to bring down fevers

Echinea (sp), available in vitamin stores. It doesn't cure it but it does cut the illness period sometimes in half.

sleep lots lots of sleep, and those emergencies at the stores that they sell, its like vitamin c but you put it in your drink works real good.

u must eating much calory plus vit C and also have a lot rest time.
