I have a Terrible flu......?plz help?

I have anemia.... and flu. If I drink vitamins and meds will it affect my blood test results on wednesday for my anemia?
And if everything shows up normal is it necessary to see the doctor or not?

What can I do with this big flu?
Hope you can help me

Get lots of rest, stay hydrated and let it run its course.

Antibiotics do no good with viral infections since they are designed to work against bacteria.

High Vitamin C intake has not clinically been proven to shorten the duration of an infection, but makes some people who have trouble eating feel better and provides needed calories.

Vitamins aren't meant to be ingested through liquids, they should come from whole foods if you want them to be adequately absorbed (liquid forms are at best, 50% of what the label reads.. but DON'T take more than the recommended dose, since different nutrients have different absorption rates and you can risk making yourself worse).

Avoid milk and tea one hour before or after eating meals with iron (or taking your iron supplement), since they contain phytols which compete for binding sites and reduce the total amount of iron absorbed.

No, they shouldn't change your blood work at your check-up since there are several markers for iron status, and some are longer term (2-3 weeks). These are most often an H/H (Heme and Hematicrite) and serum transferrin (Tf).

Please call your doctor. Some people die from bad flu. Only doctor can help you really seriously.

I heard about Thera-flu though, but have not taken it myself. If you have other health condition it's better to consult your doctor. I am really serious about it.
