Flu antidotes?

Gettin the flu but want to go out tonite, any suggestions that might minimise symptoms.. runny nose, headache, sore nose, aches and pains

The best thing is take a couple of panadols. If you have a high temperature it will reduce it. It will ease pain such as your headache, sore nose, aches and pains. The pack does say it helps with cold and flu symptoms but I don't find it stops a runny nose. Take lots of tissues! I am just getting over it now actually. Also, dress warmly if you are going to be outside (if it is winter where you live because it is here in Asutralia).

Tylenol Cold & Flu Servere, but you sould not drive and and you may end up getting worse. It may be a good idea to get some meds. and try to stay home and get well that way you wil not be passing it around. Truefully people with chronic illnesses or the eldery and pregnant women can not fight off flu bugs and colds or viruses like the normally healthy people. I vote you stay home, but it is your choice. I have diabetes and I run from people that are sick. My father almost died from catching the flu from someone last year, he was in the hospital 3 weeks.
I'm just a person that thinks of others and, I know I do not like being sick so, why should I go out and make other sick. And the only flu antidote I know of is a prescription from your doctor and they tell you to go home and go to bed drink and plenty of fluids.

Beechams All in One. Fabulous medicine, it's got all the ingredients you need to minimise those symptoms that you have. It's available at any supermarket, like Asda (british) or Wal-Mart (american).
Get well soon, and enjoy your night!
