Flu jab and catching flu ?? |
I had 'proper' flu when I was 18 and was seriously ill for nearly 4 weeks. Since then as I am asthmatic I have had the flu jab each year. Does the jab stop you from getting flu completely or do you just get it alot weaker than you would have done before the jab? It is somewhere between partial and complete protection. I'm usually pretty good at shakin off flu and colds but I caught flu 5 weeks ago and I'm not completely over it yet. This one thats doing the rounds now just takes a lot of shaking off, so just be patient. |
