I have the flu, and...?

I feel horrible. My parents said I have the flu..and I was just wondering if...
1. Is this the flu?
2. What can I do to feel better? I already took tylenol and slept until now.

Symptoms:
Body ache.
Headache, like there's no tomorrow. I feel like someone needs to rip my head off.
Ears hurt.
Fever.

Do you also have cold-like symptoms? Runny stuffy nose, sore throat? If yes, then you probably do have the flu because you need the cold symptoms plus all the body aches and the headache and the fever.
If you don't have the cold symptoms, you could have something else going on - like meningitis. This can cause body aches, tremendous headache, stiff neck, fever, perhaps nausea, and eyes hurt to look at light.
You'll survive the flu with symptomatic treatment (how sick are you really if you're on the computer?) but for meningitis you must see a doctor.
