Foods to eat with stomach flu??

I was looking on the internet, and a reader's digest website said that bananas are good, and tomato sauce...so I was wondering if tomato soup would hurt me?
I don't have much in my house for food, and I've been living off water and crackers since yesterday. I'M SO HUNGRY, but scared to eat anything.

Also, what about eggs? Or Koolaid?

Any help would be appreciated.

Gravol makes me drowsy though...

soup is your best friends here.

Just avoid using milk of any kind, dairy is rough on your stomach.

And usually tomato soup uses milk as a base.

Eggs are pretty rough too, gatoraid would be a good idea, its basically koolaid wtih electrolytes, which youve depleted by puking them all out.

Bananas are excellent, powdered bananna is actually used to TREAT stomach problems in many countries.

Bananas signifigantly reduce stomach problems in 75% of the population.

Stay away from dairy products as they tend to create more mucus and don't digest well when you have the flu. Now is the time for that chicken soup recipe. The protein from the chicken and carbs and vitamins in the veggies are just what you need to keep up your energy reserves and build your immune system.

Koolaid is ok, but dilute it, as too much sugar may make you nauseous. Gatorade is good too, but it should also be diluted 50/50 with water. Water is your best bet.

Eggs are usually pretty gentle on the stomach as long as you dont' have allergies.

Sorry you're feeling bad. Hope you get better soon.

you want to eat stuff that's very bland, no spices because it may make you throw up. a good thing is a cup of tea and some toast. that's usually the first thing i give my kids. if that stays down alright, then i would try chicken noodle soup- i never use tomato because of the acidity in tomatoes,. you will be able to tell on your own when your tummy feels ready to try other things. if you don't feel nauseous anymore, then start eating other foods. scrambled eggs are good, and i always keep a bottle or two of gator aid in the house-it helps replace the electrolytes lost with intense vomiting. hope you feel better soon.

the BRAT diet: Bananas, rice, applesauce. and toast.
Also, drink lots of liquids: water, gatorade

you can eat chicken broth too! I know its not much but you want to stick with things that arent very acidy. Thats why oatmeal, crackers, and toast are always favorites.

just take some gravol then eat cause i've received the stomach flu like 20+ times i just take some gravol then eat a little
