The Flu Or What ???????? |
About a week ago I started getting allergie symptoms. Sneezing and stuffy nose. Then about 3 days later I woke up and felt like I was coming down with something. I had chills, and took my temp and had a fever. Then the next day I took some medicine and then my fever went down, started feeling great. Then went to sleep, woke up in the middle of the night sweating and hot and had another fever of 101.8. Then today I threw up and still had a fever of 101. Then it went down to 99.3, now its back up again to 101.2. I don't know what's going on. Is this normal ? Is it normal to have a fever go up and down like that ? Do you think I have the flew. I feel hot with body chills, and a headache. What should I do to get better faster ? oh my lord! take antibiotics if the tamiflu isnt working...... i.e. cephalexin, amoxicillin, penicillin. they'll kill whatever infection you might have. but still drink water NOT pop or liquor or anything. you can even buy gatorade because there are electrolytes that will help rehydrate your body......because when your sick you tend to get dehydrated......take ibuprofen for your fever and get alot of rest. The medicine can make your temperature go up and down, especially if it was Advil or Tylenol.. Sounds like flu to me. Hope you live far away from me. I want to get my flu shot next month. |

oh my lord! i think it is... the same exact stuff happened to me, but without the temp. it think. i just woke up at 2:13 am after tossing and turning all night, then all of a sudden i was oh cra... Those sound like the symptoms of mononucleosis, but there are so many other things it could be from strep throat to the flu. Here are some links that discuss mono. It might be too much acid intake. I had the same illness as you and also it really hurts. So my doctor advised me to lay off or stop drinking acidic drinks like soda, orange juice, and lemonade etc... look up on the internet: the brat diet, it will make ur flu go away, itll work ... |
