How scared are you about the swine flu UK (others can answer too)?

I am really scared.were I work a few people have aldready come in asking for medication as a preventative measure

I think people are being complacent about it because of the bird flu that we were practically promised but it never came.
Swine flu is here - it's not a threat that it might happen - it is here and it is spreading very fast.
I think the UK should close its borders and if that doesn't stop it here then to close public places for a while too.
If none of the above work - then we are all doomed - but at least we will have tried!

not in the slightest - look at bird flu and mad cow disease - there was a huge amount of hype about those and no-one really was harmed

its just a load of old media hype and government scare tactics to keep people on their toes - please don't even give it another thought

I am not worried at all. Plagues and epidemics have been part of human history. The question is not if its when will the next one come. i am a bit of a fatalist - my mother taught me that when your time is up that's it - it doesn't matter what you are doing - you could get hit by a bus!

=I .... its really frightning how quickly its spreading, if theres already 10 cases suspected cases in New Zealand and 2 cases in France and Israel its slowly gonna make its way over here ........................................... Lets just hope scientists can find some cure =D =D XX

im hoping we will all be fine i think we need to get a preventive but other then that if it hits the town we are living in then just do as much as we can to stay at home or wear masks i personly would leave my child leave the house if it was in was in my town

i have no fear of this swine flu. i couldn't get it if i wanted to. everyone makes such a huge deal out of these things. jesus. medication won't help there's no cure.

i live in europe too... but i'm really not that scared...

we're further away from mexico (unlike the usa...) and i think that benefits us. i don't see a pandemy breaking.

i'm as scared of swine flu as i was of avian flu,not at all.bird flu was gonna wipe us out........omg quelle surprise,we're still here.the same will happen with pig flu.

Im not that worried because I live in the South East, far away from Scotland.
