What is the difference between a regular flu and the swine flu?

I've been sick at home with a fever and a cough, i was wonder whats the difference between them

There are three types, A, B, and C. A is usually a more potent virus. Swine flu is an A. I had an A strain this year. It was nasty at first, but the antivirals really knocked it out quickly.

See a doctor for your symptoms. If its flu, you can get an antiviral and hopefully take it within the lst 48 hours of your illness when its most effective.

This virus is Bio weapon !!

Three weeks back Bird flu was reportedly transported by the Department of homeland Security in USA

Who benefits from Swine Flu Pandemic?

The swine flu outbreak is likely to benefit one of the most prolific and successful venture capital firms in the United States: Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Thomson Reuters Private Equity Week reported on Friday.

Shares of the two public companies in the firm's portfolio of eight Pandemic and Bio Defense companies -- BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX.O) and Novavax (NVAX.O) -- jumped Friday on news that the swine flu killed a reported 60 people in Mexico and has infected people in the United States

People who have bird flu will chirp like a bird and those with swine flu will snork like a pig. I guess that is the difference between the 2 and when the human's have flu they will always take a 2 days MC and go shopping.

You are more likely to get diarrhea and vomiting from swine flu but otherwise the symptoms are virtually identical to usual flu.

Thanks
Bill

None except this is one we have no immunity to. It is a very new one.
