After exposure to the Swine flu how long does it take for symptoms to appear? As with other forms of influenza, the incubation is 1 to 3 days. Mind your hygiene! Always cover your coughs and sneezes, and wash your hands with hot, soapy water. CDC believes that this virus has the same properties in terms of spread as seasonal flu viruses.So, people may be contagious from one day before they develop symptoms to up to 7 days after they get sick.
