Could my sons' vomiting and other symptoms be more than the flu?


My three boys are taking turns keeping me up nights vomiting and some diarrhea. They will sleep for a few hours and wake up with a gurgling stomach, and then have uncontrollable bouts of vomitting. I have changed the pillows in the house, cleaned all the sheets, disinfected the entire house. My husband has had a few of these symptoms as well. I have remained immune. The doctor calls this a virus, and I tend to believe him. However, this has been going on for weeks, and I am exhausted by doing laundry in the middle of the night, every night. It changes which boy every second or third night, and then maybe a night off, and then another. Any clues?

always trust a mothers instinct. if you feel he needs to see a dr then do so, i had three drs tell me my son just had a cold when he had whooping cough, never give up. if you feel there is something more then just a cold, then keep asking questions until you are satisfied.
phsycological? diet? allergies?
You should go see a specialist and have some tests ran. but it does sound like a virus in witch case needs to run its course but should be check out by more than one MD.

Sounds like Rotavirus. Use Lysol and Clean toilets, sinks etc. Chek out the site below.
