What is the best medicine that almost works immediately for a cold/flu? USUALLY, Theraflu. BTW: I like cherry or lemon-flavored things but, in this instance, try to find the cherry flavor if you try it. Getting that last mouthful down in lemon flavor is a challenge! Lots of water and multi-vitamins Tami flu , and for cold Vick's Day quil or Ny quil I take Zicam at the onset of a cold. Then I hardly notice the symptoms at all! - Stick your head in a bucket of water 3 times and take it out twice - cures everything - sideeffects can be permanent if no one near you knows mouth to mouth resucitation hot chicken soup...(research says it has some anti-cold substance) Antihistamines like Polaramine (dexchlorpheniramine maleate) work for me. You can buy them over the counter here, though you might get a little lecture from the pharmacist about operating machinery. That and aspirin. Not paracetamol or the other inferior substitutes. Aspirin. |
